“完美”16寸条约战列舰架空

历史背景:

第二次伦敦条约奇葩条款之一是把主炮限制在14寸,然后附加升级条款。很明显意日都不可能同意14寸主炮,所以最后肯定回到35000吨16寸的限制。美国人有能力同时设计3x16" 和 4x14" 炮塔,反过来英国本来已经有可用的16" MkI,现在又要花一笔研发14" 大炮,最后正如邱吉尔说
...海军部决定建造两艘十四寸炮的军舰,而几个月后日本和美国却一心一意建造十六寸炮的军舰,那么,我们的海军部就显得够愚蠢的了。
如果新舰要继续装备16寸口径炮,并且使用三联装炮塔,装甲和航速也不能太差的话......

至于条约,在16寸炮管和提弹机设计加些内衬说成14寸就行了吧{:63:},反正到1937年有关零件还没有完工。

现在开始架空设计:




首先3x3的设计在重量上明显不可行,2x3只有6门主炮明显太弱,经过一翻争论最后接受了3-2-3的方案,算上炮座装甲比3x3减省800吨,而且比14寸4-2-4只重了200吨左右。MkII 主炮,炮弹重 1080 kg,初速 749 m/s,同时可以升级纳尔逊级的主炮。

在这架空中,皇家海军把所有中口径高平炮统一为4.7寸(120mm),新型43倍炮管比尔逊级的 MkVIII 初速有所增加。本舰装备9座联装炮塔。轻型防空机炮用1.5磅高速砰砰炮。

然后是舰体极限减重,设计师们发现,利用比较窄小的舰体,较高的方形系数和平甲板,可以减低死重,而加了球鼻舰艏后航进阻力还可以接受,用116000 shp 可以跑27.75节,比原来要求满载27.5节略慢。水下表面积小也可以减低巡航阻力,4000吨燃料足够18节跑5000海里。

最后是装甲,主装13寸(弹药库13.75寸)高17.75英尺内倾16度,防雷隔舱16英尺深,采取空-液-空-空设计并有小突出部,甲板5.75寸(弹药库6.25寸),对于16寸炮有25000-30000码的免疫区。



有远见的设计师们预留了300吨用作雷达和各种电子器材,全舰标排37644吨,满排41686吨,约等于KGV的排水量,但有狮级的主炮----这算不算小舰杠大炮神舰{:63:}
