23 mm (0.91") AN-23
Updated 27 August 2006
This was a twin mount developed from the upper turret used on the Tu-95 "Bear" bombers.  The naval mount was accepted into service in 1964 and was used on light ships.

These guns were gas-operated and belt-fed.  The barrel was monobloc with a blade type breech.  Fire control used a Ksenon-125 radar.
