强尼荷顿是我最喜爱的美国乡村摇滚歌手，走红于几首“史诗歌谣”(saga songs)，最初是《新奥尔良之战 The Battle of New Orleans，1959》，然后是两首电影主题曲《北国寻金记 North to Alaska，1960》和这部BB党必看的片子，不过后者只是在美国配合电影宣传而已，并不在这部电影的配乐内。他的抒情歌也很值得一听，有“爷们”的含蓄，而非洒狗血。
