“斐济”号我手里没资料我不清楚。“格洛斯特”号我了解一些。
我直接放原文吧,没精力翻译了:“The loss of the majority of the ship’s complement and the capture of all the survivors meant that a full damage report was never prepared on Gloucester’s subsequent destruction. Details of her sinking are therefore limited and, sometimes, contradictory. Many aircraft – principally Ju 87 and Ju 88 bombers – were involved in attacking the two cruisers. The Ju 87 ‘Stuka’ dive bombers of StG 2 are generally credited with having a leading role in Gloucester’s sinking but it seems the Ju 88s of Lehrgeschwader 1 (LG1) probably also played a prominent part. It appears the first direct hits were scored at 15.27, when two bombs hit aft. One entered through ‘X’ barbette and exploded in the gun room flat on the lower deck and another blew the aft DCT, HADT and part of the main mast over the side. ‘B’ boiler room, the compressor room and the main wireless office were all damaged by these hits. At about 15.40 two further hits were received between the port 4in mountings and on the port pom-pom platform, the latter penetrating the port hangar and exploding on the upper deck in the canteen (around Station 75). At about this time the ship began to lose all steam for reasons that have never been entirely explained as ‘A’ propulsion unit was apparently undamaged. Shortly after, near misses to port flooded the transmitting station and second W/T office, with the ship taking a slowly increasing list to port. Gloucester was abandoned soon afterwards, capsizing to port and sinking by the stern shortly after 17.15.54 The wreck lies in the Antikythera Channel to the north west of Crete in position 35° 50’N, 23° 00’E.”
