Edit: I should also probably mention, I personally don't think it would have achieved either of those velocities based off that amount of propellant if they were using DC53, they were developing newer propellants for HA guns, such as the propellants used in the Type 5 15cm and Type 5 12.7cm guns, as well as the mixed DC30 used in the Type 98 10cm, but I'm not sure how much thicker of a barrel wall/liner it would have needed to handle the higher burning propellant. In retrospect, the US used 38.6kg of propellant to push that 152kg shell at 760-770m/s out of a 55 caliber barrel, which is why I find that velocity highly likely to being incorrect; however, as stated before, it really depends on the propellant being used especially since the US did find that Japan had access to the chemical formula for RP C/38 and RP C/40 German Propellant.
The US found a 155kg and 162kg 20.3cm shells at their testing grounds. The main difference between these shells and the Type 91's, was that the Type 91 Mod 1's had proper AP Caps. Basically, the crh6 shells were extended from their 118.85kg body /w filler with a 34.2kg APC and a 2.65kg windscreen coming out to around 155kg. They also found 128kg and 135kg proper AP shells as well, which were capable of being used by their current fleet of Heavy Cruisers, but for whatever reason the IJN never issued these shells to their fleet.
I'll have to find it, as it was in an offshoot document from Dahlgren on their Metallurgical analysis on Japanese Armor, Shells, and testing criteria and was part of a comprehensive report including the 5-47 and 5-42 series of tests. It was Captain Yagima that gave the statement on the projectiles.
原文中有人提及如果搞到SK/c34的发射药配方的话，本子那个155KG高速重弹也是可以实现的。问题是三德子在强装药+高倍径炮管+轻弹的情况下才实现了925M/S的初速，而且装药比得梅因的MK16高了不知多少。如果是搞155KG重弹的话，本子那个炮得嗑药到什么程度？
